Debate Topic

My debate topic is Same-Sex schools and the pros and cons of it. Some pros of same-sex schools is that it enhances student success when teachers use techniques geared toward the gender of their students, also single sex-schools can break down gender stereotypes. Also girls are free of the pressure to compete with boys. The cons of same-sex schools are that it usually tends to reinforce gender stereotypes. Also it could be harder for students to assimilate into "mixed gender" society. So what are your opinions on same-sex schools?
